The Criterion Channel, a streaming service offered to you by the Criterion Collection, delivers masterpieces and discoveries from all over the world, thematically designed with extra features.

Every day of the week, there is something new to pick from on the Criterion Channel thanks to its regularly updated selections of Hollywood, foreign, independent, and art-house films as well as access to the whole streaming collection of more than 1,000 significant historical and modern films. Start with Tuesday’s Short + Feature, the Friday double bill, or the Sunday Spotlights on filmmakers, stars, genres, and themes. Try out our 15-minute-per-month film school, Observations on Film Art, or pick something from our friends’ recommendations list, like works by Mira Nair, Barry Jenkins, or Guillermo del Toro.

FEATURES

The Criterion Collection’s streaming library includes numerous entire Blu-ray and DVD editions in addition to previously unreleased films.
Ongoing screenings of Hollywood, foreign, independent, documentary, and short films, as well as series created by guests, theme programming, and director and star retrospectives
Original Criterion Channel programs include Art-House America, Adventures in Moviegoing, and Observations on Film Art.
Additional materials, such as audio commentary, behind-the-scenes video, academic analyses, introductions, new and archive interviews, and trailers, to improve your understanding of the art of film.

SUBSCRIPTION

You may sign up for The Criterion Channel on a monthly or annual basis with an auto-renewing subscription from inside the app to access all features and content. Pricing varies by location and will be confirmed before purchase in the app. At the end of their cycle, in-app subscriptions will automatically renew.
After the initial payment, you may manage any subsequent payments under Account Settings in your iTunes Account. If the subscription isn’t canceled at least 24 hours before the current cycle ends, it will automatically renew. A minimum of 24 hours before the end of the current cycle, your account will be debited for renewal. Upon purchasing, any unused time from your free trial will be lost. Disabling auto-renewal results in cancellations.
